I believe that this is truly how most people actually think.  Especially those under the age of about 35.  They don't pay attention to things going on in the world, and only watch "main stream" news (if that), which never gives the complete story.  It is so frustrating that they can vote, when they don't even realize the bad policies they are voting for, including Obamacare!  They actually think it is free!  Who exactly is paying for it???
